My 2nd annual visit to Bunny William’s Trade Secrets in Sharon, CT, did not disappoint! We arrived before 8am, with the fog enveloping the landscape. But, as the sun began to peek out and we made our way in line, we spotted Martha (Stewart), Kevin (Sharkey), Bunny (Williams) and a number of other notable faces from the design and garden world.
The set up at Lionrock Farm is pastoral and picturesque. Tents dot the landscape…loaded with rare plants and garden antiques. Breakfast for the “early birds” is set up in the big barn and then you are able to leisurely roam the grounds in search of the perfect plant or pot.
Have I planted the seeds for you to visit next year? I hope so! I’d love to see you there!
What a funfilled day and so happy the sun came out. This is my idea of perfection! I actually got tix and had to give them up to 2 very grateful friends since I extended my stay in Nashville (totally worth it) but I cannot wait to go next year:) Looks ike an absolute blast, your pictures are fabulous….see you there next year:)
I would go just for the myrtle and the planters they are awesome!
Laura, my granddaughter Sara, and I flew in for the show and Sunday’s garden tour. It was everything you said and more. So great to see your pictures to compare to ours. Pictures are a must because there is no way to remember all of the beautiful plants, garden accessories, and the drop dead beautiful grounds and buildings at LionRock Farm. You are so right, the early bird breakfast is the only way to really enjoy the morning. The weather could not have cooperated better, no rain and not too cold, simply delightfully cool, a welcomed reprieve from the hot weather we left in south Georgia. Getting to meet some great gardeners at Trade Secrets has been a dream of mine for more than 6 years. I really hope I get to meet you next year.
