We celebrated a birthday in our house this weekend. My youngest son turned 12, so we decided to take him and his group of friends bowling! The activity was set and the menu was fixed (pizza, hot dogs and french fries), so all I really needed to contribute were the cupcakes and the favors.
As I have with so many other parties, I worked with Sweet Lisa’s in Cos Cob, CT to create bowling motif cupcakes and cookies for the favor bags. I found inspiration on Pinterest and then tweaked it for our party.
Favors are just a fun way to wrap up a party. I love them for any type of gathering. For Tyler’s party, I included the bowling pin cookie, pop rocks, glow sticks (it was glow in the dark bowling) and a happy face bouncy ball. Just fun little things.
Putting this party together was definitely a ball for me!
Hi what a fun fun day!! I love how happy this post feels:) Those cupcakes are just the cutest thing ever. Happy birthday Tyler:)
You are such an incredibly party planner – it looks like this one turned out great. I love Sweet Lisa’s – they made my wedding cake!! I want to do cookies for my niece’s baby shower – I wonder if they would ship them down to Charleston or pack them for me to carry on the plane (TSA might not love that). xoxo
