You may have already seen this pretty pink home that appeared in the September issue of House Beautiful, but I just had to highlight it here. I mean….seriously. It’s very pretty and very pink and super chic and I’m ridiculously jealous that I don’t live there! Yes, I have one room that exudes pink and my house is surrounded by pink tulips every Spring, but this takes the whole “pink thing” to another level.
Richmond resident and art gallery owner, Katie Ukrop is known for her stylish flair. Yet, the 19th century brownstone that she and her family call home had remained fairly neutral, as a backdrop for all of her art. When she brought in interior designer, Suellen Gregory, to help her freshen things up, Suellen saw an opportunity to bring in her client’s favorite color, pink. And, not as an accent, but as the main color. I think pink scares a lot of people, so I am thrilled to see how it can work as a primary color source in a sophisticated family home.
It even looks like my Molly on that bed!
Cheers to pretty pink rooms!
I did see that and honestly the first person I thought about was you!! XO K
I did see this house! But I never tire of seeing it as it is so beautiful! Have a wonderful week Elizabeth.
We thought of you when we saw this home! It’s is so pretty and pink… Hard to think of our boys and husbands living there, though! Hope you’re having a great week.
