I remember the first time I saw Linda Fargo in person at Bergdorf Goodman. She was in the restaurant on the 7th floor, sitting in the robin’s egg blue “conversation chairs” by the window, wrapping up a photo shoot. After she left, the host sat us at that table. My mom and I were like two school girls we were so excited.
Since that day, I’ve caught a glimpse of her in the store, but mainly in the fashion magazines and front row at Fashion Week. She’s iconic. Not only does she have her signatrue silver bob and red lips, but she has STYLE. In spades. Which is why she now has her own stand alone shop within the store….Linda’s.
Just imagine if one of the most original, fashionable and creative tastemakers in the world curates her favorite things in the store and puts them in one place. That’s Linda’s closet! Located on the 4th floor, I now have another reason to take a spin through this fantasy-level, one-of-a-kind shop within a shop.
How much fun would it be to try to walk in Linda’s shoes, literally, for an afternoon! I’ll try to get there soon so I can share more inside pics!
