Hello, Lovely Pretty Pink Tulips friends! I feel so grateful to join you today as a guest to share fall inspiration. I’m Michele of the decor blog Hello Lovely, and like you, I admire the grace-filled way Elizabeth blogs the signature stories of her life…it’s a pleasure to share a few from mine.
It’s curious. Even though I cannot seem to live with any red at all at home, the color fills up my senses in autumn, and no matter where I roam, I run into this delicious hue. So today, please enjoy fall inspiration in the form of 9 Lovely Shades of Red for Fall to Inspire…beginning with:
Rust-red fallen leaves beneath my sneakers above.
This rich russet red vertical siding on a barn at the apple orchard near my Chicagoland home inspires me every fall with its nostalgia and timelessness.
The gold and rosy red Early Beauty apples to my eyes are studies in gorgeous abstract art from nature.
Is there anything that speaks fall quite like a tree with flaming crimson turning leaves putting on a show before they let go?
Is this pushing it? Vibrant red bottoms on fancy shoes look right at home on the balcony of an apartment we rented in Paris one fall.
The pinky-reds of October I observed everywhere in Paris took my breath away, and this hotel is blissfully decorated with it.
I wish I could say these electric red beauties are blooming in my garden…sigh, I am just learning the art now in midlife.
A sweet tomato red on a wee car outside of the Merci store in Paris brought smiles to every entering customer and inspires thoughts of an autumnal road trip!
Even a bold red painted wall inspires warm thoughts of fall, when the air turns crisper, and it just feels right to add warm decor to our interior spaces.
Thank you so much for having me, Elizabeth!
Happy Fall, lovely friends, and I hope you’ll come visit Elizabeth’s post on Hello Lovely!
Peace to you right where you are.
