In the coming months, you will have the opportunity to celebrate some people who are special to you. Birthdays, babies, new homes, magazine covers (ok, this rarely happens, but the gift above was celebrating just that), graduations, book launches, college acceptances and on and on.
And though a gift is not always a requirement….it sure is fun. And, I can guarantee that if you dress up that gift, the recipient will feel loved and valued before they even open it.
So, while it counts to think about something the recipient might like, the packaging becomes a secondary present. These are a few of the gifts I wrapped last year.
Map out the next twelve months of celebratory occasions so you can plan out the present AND the packaging!
Clearly, i need some of that Happy Birthday ribbon. Lovely packages.
It comes in handy, Marsi!! 🙂 Thank you!!
Hello Elizabeth,
Where can I find the ribbon that says “happy birthday”on it, and the green ribbon as well? The packages are adorable.
thank you for your help, i look forward to your email each day!
fondly,
Elizabeth Loustalot
Hi Elizabeth,
I’m fairly certain that the Happy Birthday ribbon came from Papyrus and the green ribbon from Natalie Chang on etsy – though I just checked and didn’t see that color in stock right now. Try searching for green ribbon on etsy and I’ll bet there’s a bunch of options.
All my best!!
Who makes the darling personalized gift tags?! They add so much to your fun gifts!!!
Hi Becky,
Personalized tags definitely take the gift up a notch! Mine came from Haute Papier. They have lots of darling designs. Stock up!! 🙂
All My Best!
