Hopefully, you are enjoying a relaxing day off for Presidents’ Day. One of the best places to visit with children is Washington, D.C., no matter which party is in power. A few years ago, we took our boys and hit the highlights. But, I was delighted to see tulips all over town.
At the Capitol Building, they were red and white.
Along Independence Boulevard, there was an appropriately non-political purple!
The Library of Congress was decorated with white tulips – purity of the documents?!
Outside the Botanical Garden, there was a joyous mix of yellow, orange and pink.
And, finally….a dramatic red at the White House. 
Let’s hope our law makers get right back to work on Tuesday. They have a LOT to do!
