You may have read in recent issues of Vogue or Architectural Digest the sad news….Madeline Weinrib has decided to shutter her eponymous business after 20 years. The past two decades, Madeline was the go-to for bold, hand printed textiles, rugs and vintage pieces. The kind of accessories that bring character and color to a space.
In an era of e-commerce where yesterday’s originals have become today’s copies, Madeline’s hand made textiles began to be knocked off. Instead of selling her business, Madeline will return to her roots as an artist and work on personal projects, such as the El Fenn hotel in Marrakech and other bespoke projects.
The design world’s loss is your gain. For those of you who live near NYC, there is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to shop Weinrib’s NYC showroom at heavily discounted prices (50-80% off retail). This opportunity is currently happening and ends this Saturday, May 19th.
After that, there will be an online sale from May 25th-June 15th.
I love the pillow I was able to pick up! The photo doesn’t do it justice!
Don’t miss this amazing opportunity!
