This past weekend, I joined my friend Ted Kennedy Watson, of Seattle’s Watson Kennedy, for our 3rd visit to Trade Secrets in Sharon, CT. As usual, there were tons of design-savvy, garden loving folks walking around and there were fantastic vendors from Pennsylvania to Maine. What wasn’t usual (but I heard happened last year, too) is that it was COLD! And, rainy! No surprise…these folks are hardy, so it was as crowded as ever.
I normally would use my good camera to capture the day, but because of the rain, these were taken with my phone.
I brought home a Guy Wolff pot and received one as a gift from Ted. We’ve made a tradition of giving one to each other on the years we have gone and because they are dated….make the perfect souvenirs of a cherished Spring tradition!
Here’s to Spring in the garden!
What were the lovely clipped standards? I saw so many plants that are perennials here in California but I am sure they grow beautifully in your climate
Hi Cindy,
I’m not sure which ones you mean….the topiaries? If you’ll tell me which photo, I’ll try to answer! 🙂
