The transition of summer to autumn is always interesting.
It may feel like summer, but it looks like fall. You are ready for sweaters, but it’s still sweltering. The hydrangeas are still blooming, but they are changing colors to a dark pink/light green bloom. White blooms are few and far between. It’s as if they got the “no white after Labor Day” memo!
No matter their color, I love clipping them and bringing them indoors to enjoy.
Wishing you a few more summery days before the Autumn Equinox on September 22nd. At that point, it will be official. Time for pumpkins!
