Gala. Macintosh. Granny Smith. Pink Lady. Red Delicious. It’s apple season!
I don’t often make pies, but I tried my hand at a classic apple pie last Fall. I think these cute little pie crust cutters made it worthy of sharing. Instead of the standard lattice top, I layered up lots of little apples!
I found my apple, in a set of 4 at Williams Sonoma. I don’t think they have that same set this year, but this one is pretty cute and would work with apple, pumpkin or pecan.
Which is the apple of your eye (and pie)? I love Gala the best, but like Granny Smith in my pie!
