Fine, fab fashions meet glamorous, colorful, fine jewelry in the newly opened Capitol x Irene Neuwirth!
Best gal pals, Laura Vinroot Poole, owner of the internationally recognized, Charlotte-based clothing boutique, Capitol, and Irene Neuwirth, whose jewelry adorns many of those walking the red carpets, have combined their vibrant aesthetics in a new venture at the Brentwood Country Mart in LA!
I am such a huge fan of both these women, who I have had the pleasure of meeting. When I lived in Charlotte, Capitol, was a favorite haunt and introduced me to a whole new way of dressing and thinking about fashion. Laura’s aesthete’s eye is in a league of its own and her boutique, designed by her husband, Perry Poole, set a new bar in boutique shopping. So beautiful…just being there is an experience and I think one of the reasons she has withstood the economic turbulence that other shops have not survived.
I met Irene at a local Greenwich shop, where I have been fortunate to acquire some of her jewelry. They are truly heirloom pieces that will be handed down in our family. She was just lovely and dressed in one of her signature bright and flowing dresses, which was a stark contrast to this area in the midst of winter.
