New Find – The Loveliest

It might have been the pink door that drew me in, but actually it was a set of monogrammed cocktail napkins on Instagram that caught my attention. And, just like that I found The Loveliest, which is located in Dallas, near one of my other favorite places, Blueprint!

The Loveliest, opened in May by sisters, Britni and Kelsey Woods and their mom, Joni, is a boutique specializing in bespoke embroidery and personalized gifts for every day and special occasions. In other words…FABULOUSNESS!

These native Texans are pulling from their travels and time spent in Santa Fe, Palm Springs, Carmel and Marfa to bring a fresh and eclectic twist to traditional gift ideas.

Here’s a snapshot of what they are stitching up!

They even have a stash of notecards for that last minute gift!

While they aren’t selling online yet, you can peruse their Instagram or send them an email inquiry and knowing how helpful Texans naturally are…they’ll be sure to fix you up.

Next time I’m in Dallas, I’m heading straight to The Loveliest and their pretty pink door!

Shopping Dallas – Madison

No trip to Dallas is complete for me without a quick trip to Highland Park Village. Beautifully appointed and easily walkable, this curated collection of shops leaves your wallet lighter and your heart pounding faster!

Without a doubt, my favorite shop among them all is Madison. Owned by sisters and interior design partners, Kelli Ford and Kirsten Fitzgibbons, it is a highly edited collection of decor items, gift items and table top. Personalization is available on nearly everything.

These hand blown glass sculptures caught my eye this time. Most of their other lines I’m familiar with, but these were new and different. A little like Chihuly and definitely a conversation piece!

I have lusted after their monogram designs for years. I haven’t been able to pick a favorite yet, so I just keep admiring… though the design on the top row, 3rd from the left has me thinking hard!

Baby gifts always make me smile. Anyone out there having a baby?

And, just to give you an idea of the design chops on these ladies, here are just a few images from their portfolio.

There really is a certain glamour to Dallas that I’m drawn to…and Madison captures the best of that!

Charming Little Flower Shop

Last week, I stumbled into the most charming little flower shop in New Canaan, CT. Storybook, really. The shop itself was adorable, but I noticed that their floral arrangements had a little more whimsy than what I’ve been seeing lately. Their fresh cut flowers beckoned to be bundled up and hurried home.

Even the displays were artful and thoughtful. And, reams of beautiful ribbons begging to be tied onto packages.

I’m just outside their delivery area, but I think it would be worth the drive to visit EarthGarden again!

And, a quick reminder to register for the amazing give away I’m hosting with shop keeper extraordinaire and now author, Ted Watson Kennedy! I’ve got another stellar give away planned for Friday!

Here’s to spring blooms!
