Go Green

Happy St Patrick’s Day! Or as it’s known at our house, “Ty’s half birthday”. I guess when you’re still  in single digits, those half birthdays are really important.

I like to dress our bar area to coordinate with each holiday. For March, I used vintage green glasses that belonged to my grandmother, stir sticks from For Your Party and monogrammed napkins from Anne Grace Papers.

So, as you begin your week, let me leave you with one of my favorite Irish toasts.

May the sound of happy music, and the lilt of Irish laughter, fill your heart with gladness, that stays forever after!

There is no color I am loving more for Fall than green! Earthy yet elegant, you can pair it with cream, black or navy.

What do you think? Have I given you the green light to give it a try?

No matter what color you’re wearing, it’s the weekend, so….get ready, set, GO have a great time!

Frozen

Frozen pink cheesecake…topped with flowers and berries? I think I’ve gone to dessert heaven.
This is just one of many delicious recipes from David and Luise (and baby Elsa) of Green Kitchen Stories. If you love vegetarian dishes or just want to eat healthier, check out their blog. Fair warning….the pictures are as amazing as the recipes, which are all organic and green.
How about you? Are you Vegan? Raw? Gluten free? Or, like me, just doing the best you can?
