Pimlico Polish – Interior Design for Smaller Projects

Have you ever needed to update a space in your home, but not really needed to replace the bigger pieces? You know that it needs to be tweaked, but you’re not exactly sure how. Enter, the team at Pimlico, one of my favorite shops in Fairfield County.
Owners, Melissa Lindsay and Jill Saunders, have noticed that there’s a gap in the market and have created Pimlico Polish to fill the void. Whether it’s updating a traditional space, adding a layer of depth or filling in some empty spaces, Pimlico will help you finish things off.
So many designers today will only take on projects as a whole…and that’s great if you’re just starting out, have an unlimited budget or want a project done from top to bottom. But, I’ve found with friends and experienced myself, that often you just need things freshened up, not thrown out.

A new season is a great time to re-evaluate your home’s look. If you could use a fresh set of eyes and a few fresh accessories, give Pimlico a call. You’ll be ready by the holidays!

Charming Little Flower Shop

Last week, I stumbled into the most charming little flower shop in New Canaan, CT. Storybook, really. The shop itself was adorable, but I noticed that their floral arrangements had a little more whimsy than what I’ve been seeing lately. Their fresh cut flowers beckoned to be bundled up and hurried home.

Even the displays were artful and thoughtful. And, reams of beautiful ribbons begging to be tied onto packages.

I’m just outside their delivery area, but I think it would be worth the drive to visit EarthGarden again!

And, a quick reminder to register for the amazing give away I’m hosting with shop keeper extraordinaire and now author, Ted Watson Kennedy! I’ve got another stellar give away planned for Friday!

Here’s to spring blooms!
