Drenched in Daffodils

DSC_0264The sun has finally come out to play! We are warming up and the daffodils have bloomed just in time for Easter. Yellow is everywhere between the daffodils, which are mainly in our back yard and in the front pots, and the forsythia. You can see the tulips starting to come up, but they won’t bloom for another 2 to 3 weeks. No complaints here, though….Spring has finally sprung!DSC_0275DSC_0267 DSC_0268DSC_0278 DSC_0271 DSC_0273 DSC_0277 DSC_0279Hoping it’s sunny and bright for you this weekend and happy Easter to those who celebrate!

Friday Flowers – Heavenly Hydrangeas

IMG_9795Happy Friday! Summer is over for some and for others (myself included) we are clinging to it with our fingertips. Oh…where did it go?!

This is also a time of year that brings my garden into riotous bloom. I finally saw a hummingbird today, dancing around my lantana, which did not bloom as it has in the past. But, the bees have been in OVERDRIVE with my hydrangeas, which may explain whey they smell like honey when I clip them and bring them inside.

So, today is a rather indulgent post. A medley of my hydrangeas’ favorite hits. So, I thank you in advance for letting me share them from every angle!DSC_0283DSC_0318 DSC_0285DSC_0284 DSC_0288 DSC_0289DSC_0291 DSC_0290 DSC_0292 DSC_0293 DSC_0294 DSC_0295 DSC_0296 DSC_0299 DSC_0300 DSC_0301DSC_0310I hope you enjoyed this garden tour as much as this little bunny.

Happy almost end of Summer!
