Linda’s at Bergdorf Goodman

ll3I remember the first time I saw Linda Fargo in person at Bergdorf Goodman. She was in the restaurant on the 7th floor, sitting in the robin’s egg blue “conversation chairs” by the window, wrapping up a photo shoot. After she left, the host sat us at that table. My mom and I were like two school girls we were so excited.

Since that day, I’ve caught a glimpse of her in the store, but mainly in the fashion magazines and front row at Fashion Week. She’s iconic. Not only does she have her signatrue silver bob and red lips, but she has STYLE. In spades. Which is why she now has her own stand alone shop within the store….Linda’s.

Just imagine if one of the most original, fashionable and creative tastemakers in the world curates her favorite things in the store and puts them in one place. That’s Linda’s closet! Located on the 4th floor, I now have another reason to take a spin through this fantasy-level, one-of-a-kind shop within a shop.Screen Shot 2017-05-14 at 11.00.34 PMhead_long_042917_01 l9 l10Screen Shot 2017-05-14 at 11.02.13 PM l12 l13Screen Shot 2017-05-14 at 11.02.37 PM l15 l21 l23 l24 linda ll4 ll7 ll11 ll12 ll17Screen Shot 2017-05-14 at 10.48.22 PMHow much fun would it be to try to walk in Linda’s shoes, literally, for an afternoon! I’ll try to get there soon so I can share more inside pics!

Holiday Shopping – NYC Style

Black Friday. Cyber Monday. It’s basically a 4 day sprint to get the best deals.

But, there’s nothing quite like walking the streets of NYC, where stores have treated us all to their most exquisite holiday decor. Walking up 5th Avenue earlier this week was simply mesmerizing. I always know it will be, but it’s still fun to see what the stores will entice us with. Window shopping at its finest.IMG_7738 IMG_7740 IMG_7742 IMG_7749These stores are fun to look at, but I’m not really buying. For gift items priced for the rest of us, there are a couple of fun Pop-Up shops that you might want to check out while you’re in the city for the holidays.featuredImg-calendarGoop Mrkt is popping up at the Shops at Columbus Circle now through December 24th. Lines such as Carven, Nilli Lotan, NLST, Fleur de Mal, Heather Taylor Home and Staub, just to name a few. I was so disappointed to miss their Pop-Up in Dallas last Fall by just one day, so you can bet I’ll be checking it out.Pop-Up-Flyer-731x1024Some of my very favorite ladies will be joining forces at the showroom of Society Social and Inslee to host a Holiday Pop-Up Shop between Dec 3rd-Dec 20th. If you’re in Soho, don’t miss this colorful collaboration!

Let the shopping games, discounts and wrapping begin!

Zig or Zag?

Will you be zigging or zagging to Target on September 13th? That’s the day that the Missoni for Target collection is unveiled.
With over 400 items, averaging $40, this collection makes it possible for everyone to have a little pop of Italian pizzazz in their home or wardrobe.
I’ve already got my eye on a few things! Do you zig or do you zag?
