Pink Buddha ~ Good Karma

I think it was Karma that brought this Pink Buddha necklace my way! 
I began practicing yoga when I lived in Charlotte, NC, but it was here in NY when I met my yoga teacher, Janet, that I really seemed to progress. When I met Janet, she was in her recovery from breast cancer ~ it would be months before I knew the color of her hair. But, the color of her heart was always clear! 
With joy and abounding positive energy, Janet has taught me that yoga is much more than standing on your head ~ though I think that’s pretty cool, too ~ it’s about standing on your own two feet. And, about breathing through the moments that are hard. They will come. So, just breathe….and let them go.

And that is one reason I am SO taken with this pretty Pink Buddha necklace by Jessica Mindich. 

 Jessica is the creative mind behind Jewelry for a Cause. Together with Maura Brickman, Director of Marketing & Sales, she is making a difference one piece of jewelry at a time!

Pink Buddha, seated in the position of dispelling fear, is the latest addition to her TALISMANS line ~ which you can see here. The necklace is $25 and of that Jessica donates $6.50 to the Breast Cancer Research Fund.
