A week from today, I will be joining other home and lifestyle bloggers at what has to be the most incredible “all access” event of the year.
Blogfest 2011, hosted by Kravet and Lee Jofa, is a 3 day conference in NYC for bloggers, where we will have insider access to Editors-in-Chief of the country’s top shelter magazines. 
Here are some highlights:
  • One month in an Hour – behind the scenes of House Beautiful with Newel Turner
  • Breakfast with Margaret Russell of Architectural Digest
  • Champagne reception with Town & Country
  • The View from Veranda – with Dara Caponigro
  • Tea with Barbara Barry

So, this begins a busy week of organizing everything for my family for the days I will be gone, planning what to wear and charging my camera battery! I want to be able to share it all with you when I return.

What does one wear to meet the luminaries of the magazine world?

  8. Gee Elizabeth, sure wish I could go. Everything always happens at once. Larry has surprised me with a few days away next week for our anniversary after this winter's ordeal! Visiting friends, antiquing and a stay at the Inn at Little Washington.
    I know, fun, but I could divide myself in half.

  11. I am sooo jealous! I really really wish I was going too. Monday and part of Tues I am going to be out of town, but then I tried to sign up anyway thinking maybe I could change things around but they had even closed the waitlist…oh well next year for sure. How wonderful that they had such a huge response! Maybe they can do something simliar even sooner than having to wait another year? I know I am going to be so jealous when I see all the pictures all over blogland. You are going to have a great time, its going to be so exciting..and then to meet everyone, how fun!! Enjoy!!!! Can't wait to hear all about it!
