Happy Monday! I hope you had a wonderful, happy weekend.
Today, I am proud to join forces with my fellow bloggers to raise awareness about a simple problem plaguing our world. Lack of clean drinking water in developing countries. Ok…that’s the bad news.
But, the overwhelming positive news is that there is a charity devoted to solving this problem and doing it in innovative ways. Charity: Water.
Did you know?
Founded just 5 years ago by Scott Harrison, Charity:Water donates 100% of its proceeds to drilling and building wells in developing countries. Water changes everything. When you have clean drinking water, you don’t sick as often. If you’re not sick, you can go to school. If you can go to school, you can better your situation. And so on. If you are ready to be moved, click on the photo below to hear Scott speak about how this all came about.
If you want to help us build a well that will provide clean drinking water for 250 people…go here. No amount is too small.
And, if you want to make a splash in your loved ones stockings, I love these charity:water bracelets. I think they are perfect for my nephews who are in middle school.
Above all, remember how good we all have it. Puts things in perspective doesn’t it?
Scott gets huge kudos for this and what a great cause! What better gift to give in the holidays than a well where it's needed…
xxoo
Love how the holidays can bring about healthy perspectives and all it takes is one person to make a change for many.
I am trying to figure out how to link my post to the "well done"

Thanks for calling attention to such an important cause. As Americans we take our water for granted. I can't imagine not having clean water to drink… horrible. xo
I just made my donation and think this is a fabulous cause. Thank you for bring it to everyone's attention a perfect Christmas gift!
So many things we take for granted.. And so needed by others. Keep up the great work Scott!

Also available when you click on the download sheet are the shopping girl and pug designs from last year! Ho ho ho!

This Week: "A Very Sparkly Christmas" with free downloads for illustrated glamorous gift tags!
Thanks Elizabeth for reminding us of the simple luxury we have when we turn our faucet handle. Having traveled to South Africa and even parts of Mexico, I've witnessed those without water. This is a charity I'm going to donate to…isn't water a basic necessity? Great post.
