This was the second year I attended the NYIGF. So, I found it a little easier to get around. There were the exhibitors that I knew would be there and not disappoint. There were others that had grown their product lines and their business. I don’t know if I saw anything new, as much as refreshed. Color seemed to be a common thread, which made things feel happy and vibrant.
Starting with Worlds Away. And boy, you couldn’t miss them. Matching their booth walls to the cover of their catalog, they went with a healthy dose of Benjamin Moore’s Orange Juice.
Stacy & Michael, the dynamic duo behind Dunes and Duchess, had a new booth location, new products….and new colors. Sign me up for the “no scurvy lemon” and the “cap ferrat bleu”!
Signing the Dunes and Duchess “grafitti board”. Bloggers, Stylebeat and Shorely Chic had stopped by earlier.
There was a party atmosphere at the Room Service booth. And, how could you not be happy with this bright and punchy throw pillow collection?
I couldn’t leave the Pier without stopping by to see my friends, Cynthia & Carolyn. These talented twin sisters run the business for their mother’s eponymous company, Diane James Home. Found at Neiman Marcus and in magazine shoots and showhouses….these are the flowers that are a designers best friend. Couldn’t help but notice they have an arrangement with pretty pink tulips. Hmmmm….think I need to order that one!
I was ready to pull up a chair and spend the morning with the fun ladies at Oomph! The line, which was conceived just a few years ago by friends, Amy, Louise and Patty, while vacationing at the beach, has grown this year. All of their pieces can be customized, so you can go wild with color. I also love their new candle line….I could always use a little more charm and glamour in my life!
That’s the story so far….color! Tomorrow, I’ll bring you more color in the form of tabletop and fun accessories. Rounding out the week will be stationery and a favorite exhibitor with a softer color palette.
See anything you like so far?
Elizabeth-
How happy all those colors are! I love the white high gloss chest. Looks like a fun way to add some "Spring" into one's step and home.

I would love to be your "assistant" for a day and follow you along to these fun events!!
LOVE your top….details ??
Thanks, Anon. I'm glad you like my top. It's from Jennifer Miller Jewelry and is called the Barcelona top. It is one size fits all and you just tie it in front. Flatters every figure! I'm trying to get more info so I can post on it..as I was asked about it quite a few times at the gift show.
