Happy Monday! How was your weekend? I was holding down the fort while my husband was away, so it was just me and the boys, running from one sporting event to the next.
If I still lived in San Francisco, which I did during my first year of marriage (no children then), I would have spent my weekend poking through Hudson Grace. Just a couple of blocks from where I lived on Jackson Street in Presidio Heights, this sweetheart of a shop opened last fall on Sacramento Street. Hudson Grace is the shared dream of Monelle Totah and Gary McNatton. Monelle brings extensive retail expertise in home and tabletop development for Williams-Sonoma and Banana Republic. Gary is an award winning product, packaging and fragrance designer for clients including Gap, Banana Republic and Restoration Hardware.
For now, you’ll have to check them out in person, as they don’t have online shopping….yet. Maybe I’ll just have to take a trip down memory lane and wander in, just as I would have 14 years ago. I really miss that neighborhood.
Oh! I just love the bamboo fork and knife!!! Maybe it is for the best that I live no where near San Francisco;)
Elizabeth,
Reminds me of my favorite nearby shop "maisonette" in Hastings. Now some are up in arms as "the hipsters" are making there way here in the Rivertowns. I just love a shoppe and shopkeeper who greets me with a hug and never pushes me to buy but educates me on items and nuances.
Hudson Grace is a lovely shop and yes, if it was in my neck of the woods, I know I would skip there, between errands.
It's fun to take a trip down memory lane!

You lucky girl to have lived in San Francisco and in Presidio Heights, no less (gorgeous neighborhood). Thanks for sharing this lovely store – I will have to remember for my next trip out there.
Patricia, I will have to check out "maisonette"…

We will go together and you can play memory lane!

Hi Elizabeth,
They need to get an on line store going! Beautiful store and very pretty dishes and cutlery The clean lines of the furniture .. I see a little RH here!
Sounds like a busy weekend. I've been there and kinda miss it now that my kids are gone.

This is exactly the type of place that makes shopping fun! I think Dallas needs one asap!
Hi Elizabeth, Happy Spring! I can't wait to see your pretty pink tulips in bloom. I'm still living in my parents' home trying to get them settled with the right care – my dad was hospitalized again not too long ago. I've been so focused on our situation that I fell right out of bogland, but found myself missing your sweet, positive voice today so have been catching up on your posts!!! Loved the yellow flowers and can't wait to hear more about the trips you have coming up! Have you been to Disneyland yet? Lots of our friends are there this week! Hope all is well in your world!!! xoxo
Good evening Elizabeth!
What a gorgeous store, indeed! I am a lover of gray and neutral colors and this is a lovely and peaceful setting. Be well and safe. Anita
what a great design resource–I would grab a latte and hang out there too! Have a great week

This is so our kind of store! Love the wall of dishes and glassware – we could spend a pretty penny or two.
