Oh, what a day!
Yesterday, I had the distinct privilege of hosting a luncheon and book signing for friends, Eddie Ross & Jaithan Kochar. It basically combined some of my all time favorite things: lunch, friends, inspiration for entertaining and lots of color!
Eddie loves to share his tips and tricks, so we decided that a format in which he could do a presentation would be ideal. One thing led to another and with the support of some amazing partners, we tried to create a memorable occasion for all who attended.
J. McLaughlin generously gave $50 gift cards to every guest and provided the colorful totes so that everyone could carry their book out in style! Nest Inspired Home, which is based in Rye, gave away a gorgeous entertaining bundle (complete with champagne, Kim Seybert napkins and napkin rings, cocktail napkins and a Jonathan Adler catchall, value = $1100) to one lucky guest. Hope you like it, Brooke! Cynthia Hudson Style gave away a two-hour wardrobe or shopping consultation (value = $200) in addition to a lovely basket filled with beauty products from Blue Mercury. Enjoy, Alicia!
Outdoors Contained, owned by a local, dynamic duo (Amy Dolan & Amy Fowle) created the MOST amazing centerpieces, all sourced from a local vintage thrift shop and potted with living plants as opposed to cut flowers that would wilt within days. Finally, the day would not be real to me without all of the stunning photographs, taken by esteemed Rye photographer, Stefan Radtke.
Here’s a look at our day!
If you haven’t had a chance to check out Modern Mix, it is a must! It will become not only one of the prettiest books on your shelf, but one you turn to time and time again!
Have you been to a fun luncheon lately? I’d love to know!
