It’s no secret that my favorite “festive” drink is champagne, but I think it was the addition of the champagne bottle emoji that has me excited this week! (Ok…and the taco emoji).
As I generally like to find things to celebrate (full week of school, fall foliage, Halloween on a Saturday), I think champagne related items are as much fun as the champagne itself. Here are a few of my favorites.
- Vintage champagne buckets – the more patina the better. My friend, Ted Kennedy Watson, always has a trove of beautiful ones to choose from, so he is a great source at Watson Kennedy. You might also find them on etsy, eBay or Ist Dibs. Perfect for giving a bottle of champagne or on their own, they make a great flower vase or catchall in the kitchen.
- “Press for Champagne” button – I first saw this on Albertina Cisneros’s (aka Mimosa Lane Blog) instagram feed. Handmade in Texas by Lisa Golightly, you can order these or (Press for Donuts, Press for Cake, Pool Boy, Press for Wine) from her etsy shop, Lisa Golightly.
- Champagne related art & accessories – fun to hang on the wall or use on the bar cart!

And, then there’s alway a beautiful crystal bowl full of champagne corks. A reminder of all those celebrations with friends!
What are you celebrating this week?!

You must make a trip to tour the Champagne Houses in France! It truly is an amazing adventure to learn all about the history and making of the bubbly!
