As we all know, there’s nothing quite like going “home”. And, for me, it had been a while. I needed a “fix”! Though I didn’t make it to all my favorite places, I did make it to a few, plus a some new spots.
Highland Park Village has always been a go-to spot, as it is the prettiest shopping area in Big D. Many of the storefronts are now high-end luxury brands, so I “window shopped” those…but, I am always happy to stop into my favorite tex-mex spot, Mi Cocina. And, no visit is complete without popping into Madison, which has a beautiful array of gifts, tabletop and home accessories. One of the new places I visited is behind a pink door! I have been following The Loveliest Company on instagram since they opened, so it was a small thrill to actually walk inside. They are about to launch an online shop, so stay tuned for when that goes live.
But, one thing I didn’t remember from when I was growing up in Dallas were seeing a lot of cactus. They were everywhere!!! I guess things do change. But, it’s always fun to go home again.
Hoping you have a great Spring Break whether you’re at the beach, on the slopes or chilling at home!
My gosh how fabulous! I have never been there but it looks wonderful! I am dying over that bed and headboard!! xo K
