It’s no surprise that I’m drawn to the designs and handmade quality of the clothing and soft goods from Mi Golondrina. As a girl, growing up in Texas, my grandparents lived just 5 miles from the Mexican border. Crossing over from Brownsville, TX to Matamoras to buy Mexican dresses and huaraches was a summer adventure. These styles remind me of those….only better!
Christina Lynch was inspired by her mother’s Mexican heritage to bring to life a stunning collection, handmade by Mexican women in small villages. Each piece is hand embroidered.
For the coming Spring/Summer season, this is at the top of my list. The off-the-shoulder tops paired with jeans or the dresses paired with sandals will be the perfect items to toss in your suitcase for a Spring Break vacation…and to enjoy into the summer. Available in both women’s and children’s sizes…the quality is amazing!
Easy, elegant, beautifully made clothing….I’m ready to pack my suitcase and head South!
Garden Club is having our meeting/trunk show at her studio tonight!
Can’t wait to see her new designs in person! xxx
