I’ll admit the cover of this book drew me in.
It’s gorgeous and light and happy. But, it’s Meg’s approach, advice and page after page of interior design deliciousness that had me from cover to cover. This is one of the hands-down prettiest design books I’ve seen in a long while. And, I basically read them all.
Meg’s unabashed use of color, varied textures and edited details make for exhuberant interiors that are simultaneously stunning, yet completely approachable. You can envision the families that she is designing for living in and enjoying these spaces. Lucky clients!Meg’s book comes after numerous projects have been published in all the best shelter magazines. And, if you are fortunate enough to live in the NY Metro area, you can take a trip to her shop, Meg Braff’s Antiques & Decoration, in Locust Valley, where she experiments with looks and generates new design ideas.
This is the kind of book that you’ll want to have for your own library, but is just a perfect gift because it’s as pretty on the inside as it is on the outside!
Wonderful!
Having the pleasure of meeting Meg last year in the Hamptons at a Home show she decorated from top to bottom certainly made me love her even more. Her interiors are like sunshine every day, happy colors and built for busy lively families! I could have moved right in~
