It’s no secret that I love pink. Like, really love! And, for most of the year it’s just a fun element that I try to incorporate into my life. But, during October, the color takes on new meaning for me. It’s the color that represents Breast Cancer Awareness month, so I try to keep my eye out for ways that people are raising awareness and money.
My sweet petite friend, Kerri Rosenthal, has a bigger-than-life-size heart and I wanted to share what’s she’s doing in this realm. Her iconic “Drippy Heart”, which has been turned into the coolest lucite blocks has a new version, called, “In My Heart”. Part of the proceeds will be donated to the not-for-profit, Eleni’s Pop of Color, which provides scarves to patients actively undergoing chemotherapy. To order one for someone who’s in the fight…go here!
Fighting cancer is messy business. But, if we all pull together…we can make a difference and add joy and color to the world. 💗
