I always love getting an email or text from an out-of-town friend asking what they should do on an upcoming trip to NYC. Though I don’t live in the city anymore, I’m not too far away and love to try and keep up with what’s happening in the Big Apple. I can give them the usual list, but I think sharing the “little gems” in the city is something I will try to incorporate into my recommendations.
So, that brings me to one of the reasons I want to share about Stick With Me. The other reason I want to share this little jewel of a shop is because I’m obsessing over bonbons. On our recent vacation to California, we had the most delectable bonbons (not your average chocolate) on our bedside table at turndown. I looked forward to these little morsels. They were THAT good.
Stick With Me opened in Nolita a little over a year ago and has already been lauded by Vanity Fair, Robb Report, Bazaar, Pure Wow, GQ and numerous other sources. Susanna Yoon, head chocolatier and founder of Stick With Me discovered her love of desserts at the world renown restaurant, Per Se. Bringing a Thomas Keller level perfection to her tiny confections has set her apart from all the others.
In addition to bonbons, Susanna’s team hand makes caramels, toffees, nougats, nut butters and elegant little cakes. But, since I’m partial to bonbons….that’s what I’m focusing on today!
