There is an infectious energy that I feel from the abstract, contemporary art of New Orleans artist, Mallory Page. Colorful and fluid. Over the years, I have become more and more a fan of contemporary art, as it seems to compliment traditional settings and infuse them with a sense of fun. Perhaps it’s the contrast that it offers to more formal spaces and antique pieces.
Mallory is going to be in Dallas, TX at the highly successful Blueprint shop I’ve written about on a number of occasions. If you’re in that neck of the woods, definitely drop in to meet Mallory and see what catches your eye!
Funny enough, I’m headed that way for a little Texas family time and a side dish or two of Tex-Mex. I’ll be signing off for a few days so I can really enjoy “going home”.
