We’ll soon be heading out on Spring Break, so I have travel and packing on my mind. Whether I’m headed to a sunny spot or a mountain top, I’ve found there’s a few things that make traveling go a little more smoothly.
1. A roomy, durable bag….that fits underneath the airline seat
One of the reasons that I never want the first row in any section of the airplane or the exit row is because you have to put all your bags up above. I am constantly digging things out of my bag during a flight. Easy access is key.
2. Organization for your tech
New to me this year are the cord tacos (cute name, right?) and cord organizers, by This Is Ground, for all those plugs, headphones and cords. They come in a myriad of colors.
3. Snacks
Delays are inevitable, as are the limited healthy options at most airports, so I’m taking some snacks with me.
4. Germ Fighter
The first thing I do when I get to my seat on the airplane is wipe everything down with an orange-scented towelette. You can’t be too careful these days and the smell is soooooo good.
5. Ipad
That’s probably a no-brainer for most of us. I mainly enjoy downloading magazines. My cover is by Graphic Image, where you can get any color, in various textures, monogrammed or not.
If part of the fun is getting there, you might as well make it as pleasant as possible!
Happy & safe travels to everyone heading somewhere on Spring Break!
