It’s a long weekend, which for many folks means hitting the slopes or if you’re really lucky, jetting of to someplace sunny and warm. We’re staying home. And, I couldn’t be happier. No long lift lines. No airport stresses. Just me and my peeps taking it easy at home.
I have really been embracing the beauty of being. at. home. Especially during these cold and dreary winter days. Luxury to me means lighting a fire and playing a game of chess or backgammon (my husband beats me every time).
Savoring something warm…to drink, to eat, to wrap up in.
Wherever you are this weekend, give yourself what you need. And, if you’re at home, treat yourself like you would your favorite house guests. Use the good soap. Light the expensive candle. Open the really good bottle of wine.
No one deserves it more.
