Lucky in Love

Screen Shot 2017-03-14 at 9.15.34 PMI got married in November, but if you happen to get married in March, you’re lucky….in love! What a fun theme for a March wedding or wedding shower. If you love green…that’s even better.

I was charmed by the ideas shared by the event planners at Arlington Park at Lee Park in Dallas, Texas for a group of wedding planners. You can see more of their creativity and ideas on their blog! Bagpipers….a must!Screen Shot 2017-03-14 at 9.15.45 PM Lucky-in-love-horse-shoe-favors Screen Shot 2017-03-14 at 9.24.46 PM Screen Shot 2017-03-14 at 9.26.10 PMScreen Shot 2017-03-14 at 9.23.27 PM446e8d7f04de155bd5b9c2f7b77bc99f Horse-shoe-decor-for-aisle-or-rain-day-indoor-archWishing you luck in love and everything else!

A Touch of Green

IMG_8394Happy Monday! A “touch of green” is perfect this time of year. It feels fresh and alive after the dormant winter season and perhpas that’s one of the reasons that it’s associated with the holiday this month. Here are just a few of the greens that caught my eye this past year.

Raise a Glass to the Weekend

What a week! Snow, snow and more snow. Planes skidding off runways. Pileups on the highway. Ice. School cancellations. I think it’s time for a cocktail!

If you follow me on Instagram, you know I was styling this earlier in the week. But, I’ve waited until today to break open the champagne!

One of the easiest ways to welcome a new season or holiday is by changing out the things that you use all the time. You don’t have to redecorate the house, but a little ribbon, a little nod, or a little color change can signal something new is about to happen. Obviously, this little vignette was inspired by St Patrick’s Day but you could use whatever you like for inspiration.

Raise a glass to the weekend and as the Irish would say….

May your troubles be less,
And your blessings be more.
May nothing but happiness,
Come through your door.
