Happy Summer! I know it’s not “exactly” summer yet, but let’s pretend that it is. The pools are open and lots of kids are already done with school (not mine). You’ve probably got your beach/pool bag packed and have replenished your stash of sunscreen. Let’s dream of sunny days, lounging poolside or on the beach.
No one captures these visions better than Gray Malin. He has taken the art world by storm with his aerial views of beaches and ski slopes, both domestic and world wide. And, in turn, he’s created a unique viewpoint that people can’t seem to get enough of.
In addition to his famous photographs of Positano, Montauk, Santa Monica and Bondi Beach, he’s crafted a small cadre of products that bear his iconic motifs. From swimsuits, to beach towels to a limited collector’s edition (only 1000 signed copies) of his highly anticipated book, Beaches…all would make fun gifts for a summer birthday or a stay at a friend’s Hampton or Nantucket home (lucky you, if you have that invite!).
