It’s Spring!! At least the calendar says it’s Spring.
The weather….not so much in these parts. And, to me, Spring means the Cherry Blossoms in Washington, D.C. This was a tough year for the cherry blossoms, as half of them were almost fully bloomed when Stella rolled through town. But, all is not lost. The latest from the National Weather Service is that the peak will be later this week, March 23-26th.
My boys are currently on Spring Break, which is when I was able to capture these photos of fully blooming cherry blossoms in D.C. a number of years ago. We haven’t been back since and need to plan a revisit. We never saw the White House and the Washington Monument was under repair, so those are the things we’d really like to do.
But, being there when the cherry blossoms are in full bloom…would be the most magical of all. So, for those of you can’t get there in person…these are for you!
