We’re covered in snow and school is cancelled. Just another near-Spring day in the Northeast! March can often be the hardest month, because you’re thinking winter is almost done…but it usually has a few surprises for us.
In other parts of the country, like Nashville where the Cheekwood in Bloom festival is opening this week and in Dallas where Dallas Blooms has already opened….tulips are blooming! 150,000 bulbs and 500,000 bulbs, respectively.
When my boys were younger, we would visit Dallas during their March Spring Break and Dallas Blooms was usually on the agenda. These are my photos from one of those visits. This year, we’re looking at colleges instead! 
I’ll need to wait another 2 months to see mine blooming…but it’s always worth the wait!
