A Mad Science Birthday Party

Dreaming up, planning and delivering a special party for my boys on their birthdays is one of my favorite things to do. I think it’s one of the ways that I try to show them how much I love them in a way that a child can appreciate and understand.

It’s also a creative outlet for me. I can’t knit, paint or draw…am only “ok” in the kitchen. But, give me a blank canvas of a room and a reason to celebrate and I start to come alive. I gave some clues last week in this post about what I was planning.

After mixing and measuring…here is the formula for Tyler’s Mad Science birthday party!

Cake & cookies: Sweet Lisa’s
Printed items: Jac’olyn Murphy
Paper goods: Party City
Beakers and safety glasses: Amazon
Kids’ lab coats: Scrubshopper
What creative outlet brings out the mad scientist in you?!
