Where it all started….

This time last year, I was preparing my house to be on the local Home Tour. It’s always a bit frightening to open yourself up like that, but the cause was a good one and I was used to letting strangers into my home — I’ve moved a lot in the past decade. But, a funny thing happened when I purchased some items from the Etsy store of a blogger you may know….Eddie Ross. Click here to see what happened.

A couple of shots not shown on the blog.
A 19th century French daybed – updated with hot pink leopard print and coordinating pillows. The lotus floorlamps are from HB Home in Greenwich. The botanical prints and daybed were purchased when I lived in Charlotte at Circa. The little martini table is from Worlds Away and is great bang for your bucks!

My son, Ty’s,  daybed. He’s an active little guy, so I wanted a fully upholstered bed. This style also allowed for maximum floor space for building blocks and playing legos. The lights are from Circa Lighting. Notice the pillows – even little boys get monograms at my house!

You never know what might happen when you take a chance. I just know, I’m glad I did.
