A dear friend suggested we check out Flora Farms while we were in Cabo…and I’m so glad she did!! It is a magical outpost in a remote area of Cabo. Away from town and the water, it is a self contained community that consists of a farm, a true farm-to-table restaurant, a bar, shops, residences and open spaces and gardens.
Ideally, I would go during the day, so that you could wander around and enjoy the setting, which is a lot of the appeal. The menu will veer off the expected Mexican food, which even my teenagers thought was a good thing. Something about too many tacos! They are known for their wood burning pizzas and a gorgeous Spring dish called “A Walk Through the Garden”.
My boys were immediately smitten with the ice cream cart and we all loved the current art installation/fundraiser of the life-sized donkeys, by local artists. Go early, wander around and prepare to be delighted.
