For today’s Friday Flowers, I wanted to share what’s growing in the garden this early June. Ferns, ivy and lady’s mantle are all flourishing, while hot pink annuals punctuate with a pop of color.
These will carry through until Fall, when we’ll add pumpkins to the window boxes.
Hydrangeas are on the move with buds forming, but no blooms yet. Roses are starting to blossom. The garden should hit peak in about another 6 weeks. The best part about this time of year in the garden is that the temperatures are perfect for spending time outside, soaking it all up. And, watching to see what will bloom next.
Hoping your weekend is blooming with all kinds of fun!
