Paris feels like it’s experiencing a “revolution” of sorts…so Versailles seems more relevant than ever.
I had been to Paris before, but never Versailles. We spent the entire day there, touring both the palace and Marie Antoinette’s Grand Trianon and Petit Trianon (in the snow!) and savored a leisurely lunch at Ore by Alain Ducasse. As the gardens had been put to bed for the winter, I hope to return one day during the summer.
Here are a few of the rooms or details that caught my eye! I wonder how Marie Antoinette might decorate for the holidays? Something tells me it would be….over the top!
