Surprises. We all get them. Sometimes we are happy about them and sometimes we are not. And, sometimes we need a little time to realize that the unexpected can be really fun!
As you all know….I always have pretty PINK tulips. Most of the time, they are a light pink, but I thought it would be fun one year to change it up. To hot pink. Well….you know what they say about the best laid plans (and plantings). We planted what I thought was “Burgundy Lace” and expected hot pink, fringed tulips. These were close…but they were a shocking-lipstick-red instead.
So…..here they are! Hot red mamas! Frilly and bold. 
So….even though I wasn’t RED-y for them, I just rolled with it and learned that sometimes, it’s just “Come What May”!
